Guess What?

Early Morning Happy Post :)
I got accepted onto another Design Team
YAY! GO ME!!!

I am very happy to be a DT member for
and the lovely Samantha who draws beautiful images and also makes amazing watermarks, banners, logos & stencils

My first make is with the stunning image
Autumn Moon
I coloured her in 4 different colourways before choosing which one to use so you might see her again but different

I coloured her with pro markers and went over her hair with my clear Wink of Stella pen. I wanted a lovely sentiment and when I found this one, by Eleanor Roosevelt, it was a perfect match. The papers are from my stash and I used dew drops in lilac, purple & teal to finish off
Please pop over to Autumn Moon Designs and take a look at all the amazing things Samantha designs

Festival Lily

Hi Bloggers

Now I'm not normally feeling like this when I post my makes here, yes I am proud of what I make but I've never been as happy or smiley as I am about this one.
Over on Face Book there is a group for the digi images 'All Dressed Up' you can find it here, there is also a group for 'Kit and Clowder' which you can find here.
There's a competition at the moment to win 3 All Dressed Up digi images and if you are a member of the 2 groups and follow the blogs you can get the gorgeous
Festival Lily
to enter the competition.
So I thought I would give it a go, my first time colouring an All Dressed Up digi and looking at some of the entries I was really nervous. I started colouring around 6am yesterday and finally had my card complete about 12hrs later, no it didn't take me that long I had dinner, loo & snooze breaks lol
I am really proud and happy with how it all turned out

When I saw the image I knew I wanted to find a quote that incorporated wings and dreams, this one jumped out at me and I think it fits the image perfect.
I coloured her with Pro Markers, added clear Wink of Stella to her plait, eyes & beads and also to the butterflies. I used Liquid Pearls around the butterflies and for her beauty spot. I also used some silver FlitterGlu Flakes to give the background a bit of bling. The papers are actually from a more male themed stack called 'Swagger' by Fancy Pants Designs but the colours were exactly what I needed for this card. The grey lace was from my stash and I just coloured the bottom edge with Tea Green Pro Marker and the pearls are also from my stash.
I think I've covered everything, I really enjoyed making this one, hope you like her as much as I do.

Pretty Purple

Hi Bloggers

I'm here with my 2nd make for
and I have to say I am very happy with this card

I have 3 or 4 of the Woodware Bubble stamps and have only ever used 1 once so decided it was time to play with a new one
Firstly I embossed a square of white card with a dotty embossing folder & decided seeing as I would have a lot of embellies coming out from the card base, I would use the card the debossed side showing.
I stamped the image using memento black ink pad and filled in 3 of the bubbles with my quickie glue pen & used a beautiful rich purple foil to fill them. I filled the rest with candi, buttons, dew drops, pearls & gems. The leaves and stalk are coloured with pro markers & I mounted the finished image onto pearlescent purple paper.
I couldn't find a ribbon that I liked and that was luxurious enough to match the purple colours so I used a thicker piece of lilac organza ribbon with a thinner piece of purple striped organza ribbon on the top. Seeing as I still cant tie a decent bow my trusty bow-maker came to the rescue again and I got a pretty decent bow.

Don't forget that the July Challenge is still open, ends 31st which is my birthday, on the Facebook page here & you can win £15 to spend in the Foil Play online store.

Merry Christmas

Nope I'm not going bonkers, the theme for this months Kith & Kin Stamp Company challenge is

Christmas in July

You can enter on the facebook page here

Kyra has some briliant digi's you can use for Christmas, find all of the Kith & Kin images here

I used Steampunk Chantelle for my make

She was coloured with pro markers as was the greeting. The paper was from my stash and I embossed a piece of red card before rubbing over with distress ink pads (old paper & frayed burlap). I finally got to use my new toy and added 2 copper coloured eyelets with my cropadile and used the top one to hold some lace, twine and berries in place.
This card wasn't what I set out to make but I do love how it ended up.

Don't forget to enter the 'Christmas in July' challenge over on the facebook page, we look forward to seeing your creations

1st Make on my New DT

Yup you read it right, Ive only gone and been accepted as a DT member at

I've never played with foils before but having had a try I am now loving the results you can get and so many different colours and effects
Here's my 1st make

And yes I know it's a Christmas card but why not, everyone knows you gotta have a bit of Christmas in July lol
i stamped the snowflake using memento ladybug dew drop ink pad and added dots of quickie glue pen where I wanted the foil to adhere to and used the 'Gold Bubbles' foil. I used some gold metallic spotty paper from my stash for a stripe across the middle of the card and to matt the snowflake onto. Even though I like my Christmas cards to be CAS it still needed a little something, so i used a 3mm dst along the edges of the paper stripe and stuck the same gold foil on. These foils shine so much and just add that bit extra without being too much.

You can find the foil I used along with lots more beautiful foils and other crafting goodies at the online shop here

My 2nd Jellypark Post Pals Card

I am sharing the card i made with the 2nd Jellypark image for the Post Pals children. This one I sent to a lad called Charlie who, like me, is a gooner (Arsenal fan for those who don't know what it means), so I just had to go with red, white, blue & yellow colours.

These Jellypark images are just so gorgeous and versatile. I coloured mine with pro markers and the skin with copics, quite please as I'm just starting with them. I added white gel pen to the balloons to get the shiny bit & the spots on the scarf. Its quite a simple card but I used lots of layers to add colours. The sentiment is Jillibean Soup alphas and some alpha stamps I picked up years ago in a £shop, and I added some card candi to keep the embellies minimal.
I hope Charlie liked it.
If you would like to join the Jellypark Post Pals Group on Facebook just click here and ask to join.
If you don't know what Post Pals is, click here, its a wonderful way of sending sick children & their families a little smile and happy hello.
I am going to start on my 4th card tomorrow after I have spoilt my hubby with a Fathers Day BBQ.

So Lovely

Hi people
I am blogging today about a wonderful place I found on Facebook where you can make sick children smile and hopefully brighten their days a little.
Claire Keay, the amazing lady at
is doing an amazing thing and giving us special digi stamps to make cards with and send to children via
The idea is you promise to make a card or something suitable for the child you chose to send to, send your make to the c/o address and then you can get the next stamp sent to you to do the same again. Its such a special and brilliant thing to do and Claire draws the cutest digi's .
If you are interested in joining the group you can find it here

This is my make with the 1st stamp which I sent to a young lady called Sapphire

Isn't the digi just the cutest thing, and can be used for either boys or girls.
I coloured her with pro markers and added glossy accents to the patch on her hat and monkeys eyes. I added a button threaded with bright pink twine, to her hat and used Wink Of Stella glitter pen on her jumper. The paper are from my stash but i seem to think they were in a pack free on a recent magazine, the sentiment I printed out and then drew the lines with my thinnest pro marker black pen. 3 little buttons finished off my card.

I hope you will be inspired to join the group and help put a smile on a child's face.
