Flower Fairy

Hi Bloggers

I'm sharing one of the fabulous New Releases from

Wendy has created some great images this time & I got to work with
Flower Fairy

Isn't she beautiful
I coloured her with my ProMarkers, added Liquid Pearls drops to the flower centres & at a couple of the corners and I used a white embossing powder for the dots around her. The papers are from my stash, the sentiment is from Stampin' Up and I used clear embossing powder on a cute wooden embellishment to give it a nice finish. I made the flower by die cutting petals from copier paper I coloured to match the image, layering them up and sticking a large cream dazzler in the centre & finished with organza ribbon

You can enter the challenge here but remember you must use an All Dressed Up image on your entries, find them all here

You Go Girl!

Hi Bloggers

As I am writing this post it's bright and sunny and quite warm, so it's a good time to share a really summery card I made with the fab Karleigh Sue digi image

After I had coloured her with my ProMarkers I decided I wanted to keep the card quite CAS so she was center of attention. I used yellow & black fine liners to draw a thin border round the image and the card, used a small piece of plain backing paper, co-ordinating washi tapes & liquid pearls to add decoration. I am quite please with how she turned out

You can find 'Bikini Season' and all the other fabulous Karleigh Sue digital images in the Etsy shop here
and don't forget to share your Karleigh Sue creations with everyone in our FaceBook group here

Digi Choosday Challenge - Male/Fathers Day Theme

Good Morning Bloggers

The challenge at Digi Choosday this week is to make a

MALE or FATHERS DAY

themed project

Now I'm one of those who struggles and doesn't like making male cards, although I better get used to it as at the moment we have more boys in my family than girls

I decided this challenge would be the perfect time for me to make my husbands Fathers day card from our 2 furbabies, and there was no better image to use than the Gamekeeper from the Work & Play 10 collection
I coloured the image with ProMarkers, colours listed below, and went with the green & brown colour tone to match with the papers which are also from the same collection, as is the sentiment & flowers. Iayered everything up on kraft card and added bakers twine and some vanilla dew drops to complete my card

I hope you will nip over to the challenge blog where you can see all the fabulous makes by my teamies and find out what this weeks prize is

New All Dressed Up Challenge

Hello Bloggers

We have lots of new fab DT members a
t All Dressed Up & have had a little shuffle round, which means I am now on Team B for the blog challenge

As always the challenge theme is

Anything Goes - you must use an All Dressed Up image

and I used the cheeky

for my card

Isn't he just so cute, and I love the sweet little bird. I coloured with some great Rymans pencils and then went over the top with ProMarkers, it's given the image a lovely bright shine. I wanted to keep the card quite simple so I just used 2 backing papers from my stash and layered up some Spellbinders branch die cuts. I am really happy how my finished card turned out

Kraft !!!

Good Morning Blogland

It's Tuesday so that can only mean 1 thing, it's time for a new challenge at

Digi Choosday

and if you haven't guessed it already the theme this time is

Use Some Kraft Card

I used elements from the 'Twiggy & Toots' collection, including papers, sentiment, tree & the owl is from the embellies bundle
No colouring on this card so its a nice quick & easy make. I just layered everything up onto kraft card and once I had decided where everything was going I added some garden twine to give some texture

If you head to the main Digi Choosday challenge blog you can see all my fab teamies makes, as well as the rules for the challenge and find out what this weeks prize is
