Oh Christmas Tree

Hiya Bloggers

I'm sharing one of the few Christmas cards I've made so far, I'm determined to be well ahead this year :)

Isn't this the cutest Christmas tree ever, it's a digi image from Aurora Wings and I've coloured it with ProMarkers. The papers and ribbons are from my stash and the poinsettia I made using the Tattered Lace poinsettia trio die. I used Stickles and Liquid Pearls for the baubles on the tree and the flower centres. The sentiment is also a Tattered Lace die
I just love this image, more so because of the sweet little gingerbread man, and think I will be making more cards featuring this digi image this year

I hope you are all well on the way to making your Christmas card stash and that you like my card

Yay! Karleigh Sue Birthday Blog Hop

Hi Bloggers

I have exciting news to share with you. Here at Karleigh Sue we are having Birthday Celebrations to mark our fab boss Cheri's bithday and the 1st birthday of Karleigh Sue Digi's
We have lots happening on our FaceBook Fan Group and here in blogland we are having a blog hop

The blog hop starts here on the main
and if you have followed the list you would of come to me after your visit to
where you would of seen her fab project and hopefully left her some love
So now you are here on my blog and I am sharing my project with you using my favourite image so far

I knew as soon as we were given the brief to use our favourite image of all time that, even though she is a fairly new digi, she would be my choice. Why? because she is a sassy sexy lovely larger lady. I asked Cheri if she would consider doing larger lady images as not all of us are supermodel sized and she didn't disappoint when she released this gorgeous girl
I carry a small notebook with me whenever I go out and it has lists of all the different ink pads, Stickles, Liquid Pearls, pens etc that I own and those I still need to buy. It stops me making the mistake of buying the same ones I already own, and yes I had done it a few times before I got my notebook. So I decided it needed a bit of a makeover and this is the result :)
I coloured the image with my ProMarkers, colour list below, and used scraps of blue and black card to cover the front of the book and added a dark red doily and a heart I stamped onto patterned paper. The sentiments I either made up using individual word and letter stamps or they came on a freebie stamp set with a recent magazine.
I wanted to remind me that I am happy with who I am no matter how I look, what size I am, or whatever society deems we should look and be like.

Anyway I hope you like my project, I would love it if you leave me a comment, and lets get back to hopping. Your next port of call is
who has a fabulous project to share with you

Please don't forget to work your way through the blog hop list and if you leave a comment on all the blogs you will be in the running to win a prize in the Birthday Blog Hop Prize Draw
*drawn at random from everyone who has commented on ALL the blogs*

Just incase you have just found the blog hop here on my blog or have got lost here is the full blog hop list

Have fun

Sweet Wishes

Hi Bloggers

I'm sharing a 'Sweet' card today featuring the fabulous Tiddly Inks image

Isn't she just so gorgeous
I coloured her with ProMarkers and added Glossy Accents to the lolli-pops. I decided to go with a citrus colour scheme which I don't use that often, but I had some fab ombre ribbon and a fluffy heart that matched the super glittery paper I had been holding onto for ages, so the citrus colour scheme just had to happen. I made the pins with tiny beads and added a couple of stripy enamel dots to finish the whole thing off

I hope you like my 'Sweet Wishes' and if you want to see more of Wryn and her friends like Ellie, Annie & Fairy Fae, then head over to Tiddly Inks where you will find them all

Karleigh Sue Inspiration

Hi Bloggers

I'm sharing my Karleigh Sue Inspiration card with you today and I used the fabulous 'Poodle Skirt' digi stamp

I coloured her with my ProMarkers and added clear Wink of Stella to the poodle, ice cream and socks. I added cool puffy heart stickers to the sentiment, which is also from Karleigh Sue, along with black lace & flat back pearls.

All Dressed Up Challenge

Hello Bloggers

It's the 1st TEAM B challenge since our summer break at

and as always the theme is

ANYTHING GOES

I used the super cute 'Present For Daddy' image with the sentiment removed as I have a special little boys birthday coming up and he loves diggers
I coloured the image with my ProMarkers and added faux stitching with a 0.3 fine line drawing pen. The papers are from my stash, as is the card candi. The sentiments are actually one cling stamp that I stamped separate to allow me to space the arrow tags as I wanted. Considering I struggle with male cards I am actually really pleased with this one

Don't forget you can share all your All Dressed Up makes in our FaceBook Page and find all of the amazing digi images in the Etsy shop here

I look forward to seeing all your fab entries

Anything Goes with Karleigh Sue

Hi Bloggers
&
Happy August :)

As its the 1st of the month it means its time for the next Karleigh Sue challenge and this one is easy peasy

ANYTHING GOES

I used the fab 'Present4You' digi and coloured her in soft colours with my ProMarkers. I want to make a quite clean card but wanted to add some texture too, so I embossed 2 different types of vellum that I have with an embossing folder that was a magazine freebie. The sentiment came with the folder and I used 2 co-ordinating inks to stamp it. Finishing touches were the gold candi
You can find all of the Karleigh Sue digi images in the Etsy shop here, the challenge blog here, and find out all the latest Karleigh Sue gossip in the FaceBook Fan Group here
