Thank you all for your wonderful comments and thanks for the sentiments i made last week, i was overwelmed with the ammount of people who not only wanted to take them but who said thankyou.
I am sorry for the spelling mistake on one of the oval sentiments, i have re-done it this time with no mistakes.
Below are some more sentiments i have made, i am having so much fun doing these. Please help yourself if you want these but please do not share, if your friends want them too, please get them to come take a look at my blog where they can take them for themselves.
I shall more than likely be doing more of these in the future but i probably wont advertise it. If you want to become a follower of my blog please do, then you wont miss out when i post more freebie's.

Friends & Tea
The challenge here at Pollycraft this week is 'Friends' and they have the gorgeous Flo as a freebie.
Well after seeing how gorgeus Flo is i just had to use her, and i thought she was perfect for a friends card as we all like a cuppa and a chat with our mates dont we. i went searching the net for a sentiment and found this one, which is anonomous, but fitted perfectly with Flo.
I coloured Flo with pro markers and added glitter to her here and there. I then cut 3 shapes in different sizes from white, pale pink and pale green card and matted her onto them. The backing paper is from a stack that was a mag freebie, but matches perfectly. The sentiment is matted onto the pale pink card too. I used a thick white ribbon across the middle and a thinner pink one on top and made a tiny bow from the pink ribbon and added a pink gem to the centre.I finished off the card with pink and green gems in the corners.
I am very happy with this card, and just love Flo

Monochromatic Challenge
This weeks challenge here is monochromatic and 3 buttons.
I fell for this cute dog freebie the minute i saw him and knew i had to use him for this challenge.
I fell for this cute dog freebie the minute i saw him and knew i had to use him for this challenge.
I printed him twice so i could decoupage his nose and bone, and coloured him with pro markers . I used 3 different shades of brown card i got in a pack from The Works and layered them up on top of each other, with each layer being shorter than the previous. The sentiments are from 2 different cheapy stamp sets printed with memento black ink onto the brown card. The buttons are from my stash, so probably claimed from an old piece of clothing and i have tied some brown twine through them.
I will definitely be using this cute digi again many times, he's just soooooooo sweet.

CAS & Masculine !!!!!
I'm sure the people at Less Is More are trying to send me mad. Their latest challenge here is the dreaded male card, and mine is nothing like it was meant to be.
I started off by colouring a red car, and scrapped it straight away as i didn't like it, then i found this cheeky computer digi. He is coloured with pro markers and stuck straight onto a square white card.
The i made little black dots 5mm apart and coloured in peel off letters with a black permanent marker and stuck them above the line.
Not really much to explain about this one really, but for once i like a male card i have made, maybe CAS is the way to go for those horrid male cards.

Creative Inspirations Challenge
The challenge here this week is a sketch, and you should all know by now how much i love sketches.
Here's my card
There is quite a lot going on compared to the cards i normally make, but i enjoyed making it. I used a gorgeous Pink Gem stamp, coloured with pro markers and added touches of glitter. I used a striped paper that was in a stack free with a mag and a piece of pink card with i embossed with my new cuttlebug (i'm loving my bug soooo much), and added glitter here and there onto the swirls.
I covered a square white card with a very pale pink paper i got from The Papermill, i'm going to miss that place, and mounted the image & papers onto 3 different shades of pink card.
The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, pink gems from my stash as are the flowers. the circle sentiment is again from Pink Gem and the little silver teddy i picked up in the Works in a card kit.
Hope you like it, Kate xxx

Inspiration Photo AND A Freebie
There is a gorgeous photo for inspiration in the challenge here http://deedledeedoodles.blogspot.com/2011/03/march-16th-challenge-6-guest-designer.html this week AND a freebie digi to use too.
I started off by rounding the corners on a square white card and covered it with a purple feint lined paper. I printed the digi twice and coloured it with pro markers and cut out some of the flowers to decoupage. i mounted the digi onto a pale yellow textured card and went round the edge with a pro marker. I used the same textured card to print the sentiment, added some pale green and lilac gems and went round the edge with the same pro marker as the bigger oval. I then used green and lilac ribbon to criss-cross across the card.

I made this for the challenge here http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/sketch-146-sponsored-by-cute-stamps-and.html i just love sketch challenges.
I covered a square card with a black linen effect card, the same card was used for the black circle. I then used my fabby new cuttlebug and a gorgeous embossing folder to make the embossed piece of white card, and used some shiny red card and red ribbon. The cupcake tamps ans sentiment are from a mag freebie and i added a little red gem.
I must say i do like making black & white cards, sometimes i think they just look really good.

Another Fab Sketch
here http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/sketch-145-sponsored-by-robyns-fetish.html for this weeks challenge.
I coloured the beautiful ballerina Tilda with pro markers and wanted to keep the whole thing pale. I used a pale pink pearlised paper to cover the whole card and a cream pearlised paper to back Tilda. The paper in between is a pink & cream stripes with little hearts on from The English Paper Company. I used a pale pink satin ribbon across the card and to make the bow, added 2 flat backed pink stars, and finished by covering Tilda's crown with silver glitter and a pink gem.

Oh Scallops !!!
and not the fishy kind, that's the challenge here http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2011/03/scallops-anyone.html this week, and if you use a bugaboo image you get the chance to win even more Digi's.
I used their fab ' Nutty About Crafting' freebie digi and sentiment, coloured the cute nut with pro markers and mounted both onto textured card i had scalloped the edges of. I then cut smaller round scalloped circles from different textures and colours of card & paper and dotted them around the card, and added some bright buttons and red glitter glue to finish.

Terriffic Tilda
Its a sketch challenge here http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2011/03/week-97-bevs-sketch.html this week, i just love sketch challenges.
As it will soon be time for exam results (OK not that soon but i like to be prepared), i thought i would use this cute Tilda and do it in the recipients fave colour. I coloured Tilda with pro markers. The backing paper is a handmade tissue paper and i cut scalloped circles from a lilac glitter card and a lilac pearlised paper. I didn't have a thick enough piece of ribbon so i used 2 pieces and covered the join with a purple gingham thin ribbon. The flowers i coloured with pro markers to get similar colours to Tilda and added a touch of glitter to the larger ones, card candy and gems for the flower middles. The sentimet is a peel-off.
Please excuse the big blob of glitter on the top big flower, i was having a hypo at the time and didnt realise, so i dropped a bigger bit of glitter glue on than i meant to.

Off The Edge
The challenge here http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2011/03/week-6-one-layer-card-off-edge.html this week is a ONE LAYERED CARD with the image going OFF THE EDGE.
Oooohhh this took some thinking about and rummaging through all my stamps and testing quite a few till i found one i thought looked right hanging off the edge.
I decided on the little butterfly and stamped it onto a lilac card, coloured with pro markers and just tiny hints of glitter. The sentiment was in a set of clear stamps that were a mag freebie and i added some tiny purple & lilac gems.
I quite like this one

Floral Layers
The fab challenge here http://doyoustackup.blogspot.com/2011/03/dysu-10-layers.html this week is LAYERS.
I decided i wanted to make a bright card and used gorgeous flowery paper as my 1st layer. As the paper is covered in flowers i thought it would look good if all my other layers were flower shaped, so i cut different sized 'flowers' from different coloured and textured papers to co-ordinate with the colours in the backing paper. The largest red flower i embossed with circles, the blue flower is a handmade textured paper, the orange flower with the sentiment stamped on it is a pearlised paper. The small green flowers are card and the small pink flowers were cut from an envelope, just the right shade of pink to match the backing paper.
I stuck all the flowers on using 3 different thickness' of foam pads so they are different heights and then added another layer using card candy.

Yellow & Green
Its a colour combo challenge this week at http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-73-colour-combo.html and the colours are YELLOW & GREEN.
Well yellow and green just has to be an easter card, and nothing better for an easter card than this cute Tilda. She was coloured with pro markers. I used a plain green paper with a slight stripe in it for the top and a swirley white & green paper for the bottom of my card. Some lovely yellow satin ribbon across the middle which i stuck some little greem flower gems to. I added some yellow tear-drop shaped gems to the corners and a peel-off sentiment.

Green Tea Anyone?
The challenge here http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-49-and-new-release.html this week is GREEN.
Here's my card
And of course you cant have a cuppa without cakes, can you :D
The sweet smiley cup is a Meljens digi, coloured with pro markers, green card embossed with circles and a bit of green and blue swirly paper from my stash. Cupcakes are stamped with memento ink and coloured with pro markers. I punched some spikey circles from a strip of darker green card and added a thinner strip of the same card down the centre and used peel-offs for the greeting. All finished off with 3 beige card candy.

Purple Tilda
Its an 'Anything Goes' challenge here http://justmagnolia.blogspot.com/2011/03/week-96-simon-says-stamp-special.html this week, so i thought i would have a go.
I originally made this following a sketch challenge on DoCrafts, then realised i had done it in totally the wrong colours, what a dimbo. But all is not lost as it fits this challenge nicely.
I love this Tilda, in fact i love any Tilda, and colouredher with pro markers. She is sat on a piece of dark purple ribbon, and surrounded with purple paper flowers and clear gems. The purple leaf design backing paper is from the Amethyst Infusion Papermania paper pack and i used a piece of mid purple shiney paper and some square purple gems. i also used a doily, and this is the 1st card i have made using one, what do you think?

You Lucky Duck !
Is the name of the challenge here http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-101-you-lucky-duck.html this week. It could be a 'Good Luck' , 'Congratulations' or 'Best Wishes' and of course has to have something stamped on it.
I decided on a Congrats card as i knew i had the perfect FF stamp, the cute bear with a glass of bubbly. I coloured him with whispers pens and cut out a nice shape and edged the shape with a light pink ink pad. I then stamped the greeting in with the same pink ink pad, and attatched them both to the card with sticky pads. I used a light pink velvet ribbon across the middle of the card and a 2 tone skeleton leaf, different sized flowers and gems were added to one corner. After seeing a post about the random sprinkling of gems on cards i thought i would give it a go. God its hard, i must of moved all my gems at least 5 times but i think in the end i got them 'random' enough.
I cant wait for an occasion to use this card, im very pleased with it.

Pastel Pink
The challenge at Less Is More this week is 'Pastel' http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2011/03/week-5-colour-pastel-colours.html . I was undecided what colour to chose until i found a sweet pink striped ribbon.
I started off with the lighter pink ribbon and then used a slightly darker thin one on top, it looks really dark in the photo, but its not in real life. I added a small pink gem to the centre of the little bow i made. I drew some swirly lines in green pencil and added 2 light pink paper flowers and a white card candy to make my flower, then stamped the greeting straight onto my card (i'm getting braver) in pink, sorry i doesnt show up too good here.
I am begining to like the Less Is More kind of cards more and more, but i do find they take a lot more thinking about than i expected.

Cute Lion
The challenge here http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-48-and-new-release.html this week is to include an animal, so i decided to use this gorgeous Lion.
Isnt he just adorable :D I coloured him with pro markers and used an orange shiney backing paper. I then added a strip of red paper with orange dots and edged this with a white & red bakers twine. I printed off the sentiment circle and stuck in down with sticky pads, just a little thicker than the ones used for the lion. I threaded some of the twine through a big dark orange button and added to the sentiment corner, and finished off with card candy coloured with pro markers.
I think this is soooooo cute and dont know who i will send it to, as i love it too much

Flowers
Flowers are the challenge here http://littleclairesdesigns.blogspot.com/2011/03/challenge-2-flowers.html this time. It could be a flower image, floral backing paper, anything as long as you can see flowers.
I used the gorgeous 'TweenGirl Shopping' digi and coloured her with pro markers. I cut the large flower shape from striped paper that was a freebie in a mag ages ago. The dotty paper was also a freebie paper. I chose different shapes and sizes of paper flowers in colours matching the stripes and used brads, gmes and card cany as the flower middles.
I really enjoyed making this card.

Thankyou
I would like to thank everyone for the lovely comments on my CAS card that i don't like. I'm not sure why i don't like it, maybe it is that its just too CAS. I like the idea of moving the sentiment, or maybe putting the squares on so that they are not in a straight line, i dunno.
Im glad so many of you like it though, and it has given me the incentive to keep on trying with the CAS cards.
Thankyou, Kate xxx

3 Squares
The Less Is More challenge this week is '3 Squares' and you can find it here http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2011/02/week-4-recipe-three-squares.html . I sometimes like my cards for the Less Is More challenges and sometimes i really don't, which is the case with this one, but I've left it too late to make another.
I embossed 2 lines across the bottom, but you can see the good in this piccy, and put a row of red gems between the lines. I stamped a little flower onto 2 white card squares and a little sentiment onto the other one. The flowers are coloured with pro markers and a tiny red gem in the middle.

For My Friend
The challenge here http://craftycatzweeklychallenge.blogspot.com/2011/02/challenge-71-friendship.html is to make a friendship card.
This is mine
I started off with the sentiment and then Tilda holding all those hearts and the heart tree digi were the perfect match. The backing paper is from the DC goody bag Lemon Sorbet and everything was coloured with pro markers. Tilda had a little glitter on her hairbands and the green stripe on her dress. The digi sentiment is edged with a red ink pad and red & green gems were added to the corners.
I hope my friend likes this as much as i do, Kate xxx
