Seasons Greetings

Hi Bloggers

It's nearly here :) I can't wait for Christmas

I'm sharing another Christmas card made with a gorgeous stamp set from Cuddly Buddly called 'Winter Wonderland'

I coloured this using Derwent Inktense pencils and added Frosted Lace Stickles to the snow. The sentiment is included in the 'Toby Tumbles Snowy Day' stamp set.
This is far from my usual style but I really like the end result & I am definitely going to be trying to do different styles of cards in 2015

Last Minute Xmas

Good Morning Bloggers

I'm here with my last DT project for Digi Choosday before our Christmas break, and the theme is

LAST MINUTE XMAS

I was going to use a digi but with having a lot of things going on at the moment and time just disappearing I went with digi papers, sentiment and die cuts instead

The papers and envelope sentiment are both from the 'Work & Play 5 - Festive Hollibobs Collection'. I covered a gold card with the green snowflake paper and die cut 2 different sizes of Christmas tree from the same green paper, a metallic gold card & the gold dotty paper from W&P5. After playing around for a while (OK for ages) I eventually got the trees into a position I liked and even managed to fit the envelope sentiment, which I coloured with Pro Markers, in nicely too. The last thing to do was to add some sparkle with tiny gold gems

I hope you will come along and join our challenge this week, everyone needs to odd 1 or 2 back up Christmas cards for unexpected visitors :)

Xmas Table/Decor

Good Morning Bloggers

It's a Digi Choosday challenge again today and this week its

XMAS TABLE/DECOR

So anything for your Christmas table or decor for your home

I decided to make some place setting for our Christmas dinner table. I used some of the fabulous Christmas Hollibobs characters and tried to match them with my family

I coloured the images with Pro Markers, added stickles and glossy accents to the berries, buckles and fluff. I fussy cut all the characters out and mounted them onto a piece of digi paper I printed from the Work & Play 5 Festive Hollibobs collection backed with gold card. Then I cut an A4 sheet of card down the middle length ways and cut each strip into 3 equal pieces, scored them in the middle and I had the bases for my place setting. All that was left to do was to stick the digi people onto the bases and voila, place settings for our fab Christmas dinner table

I hope you will join out challenge this week, I would love to see all your wonderful decor creations

Digi Choosday Challenge: Christmas

Hello Bloggers

It's that time again, time for the new challenge at
and this week it's quite simply

CHRISTMAS

Now there should be no reason for anyone not to enter this challenge as you must all be deep in Christmas makes or already have them all done
I decided to use the gorgeous Xmas Angelberry Hugs for my make this week and decided to make a very girly card

I coloured her using Pro Markers, added clear Wink of Stella to her wings and used Liquid Pearls for the pom-poms on her dress and headband. The papers are from my stash and I added a square of muslin that i had frayed round the edges to match the distressing on the papers. The poinsettias are made from a Marianne die and I sparkled them with Stickles. The heart and pearl strings are from my stash. I really enjoyed making this and its quite a bit OTT to my normal makes using lots of layers

I do hope you will join us in our challenge this week and look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations

Christmas Celebrations

Good Morning Bloggers

Today starts a new challenge at Digi Choosday and this week it is

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

I have been soooooo good this year and well ahead in my Christmas card makes I only had 3 left to make, so after this one that's 2

When i saw this super cute image I knew I had to use it for my furbabies Christmas card. The image is called 'Sleightime' and can be brought alone or on the fab 'Work & Play 5 Festive Hollybobs Collection'. The blue snowfall paper and the calendar are both on the CD too
I coloured the image with Pro Markers, added glossy accents to the holly berries and used stickles for the snow. I distressed the edges of my papers with my Tim Holtz distress tool. The star die cuts were from my stash and the snowflakes I cut with a recent magazine freebie die, the sentiment I made on the computer

I hope you will come along and join our challenge this week, I'm really looking forward to seeing lots of Christmas Celebration cards

Christmas Wreath

Hi Bloggers

I'm doing this post from my Mums house where me and my furbaby Lilli are having a girly weekend. Watching Christmas films, eating take-away as well as sticky toffee pudding with toffee fudge ice cream mmmmmmmmm

Anyway I'm sharing another of my Cuddly Buddly DT makes, this time using one of the stamps from the 'Merry Little Christmas' set

I wanted to make the wreath stand out so decided to go CAS. I coloured the image with Pro Markers, embossed a piece of plan white card stock with a dotty folder and and mounted the wreath with foam pads so it stands out. The sentiment is from another Cuddly Buddly stamp set called 'Holly Collage' and I added 3 small gems to finish it off

Cuddly Buddly have a great range of Christmas stamp sets at only £6.99 each and digi images from 99p, so if you are stuck for ideas or running behind on your Christmas makes its worth taking a look

Pressie's!!!!!

Good Morning Bloggers

It's time for another challenge at Digi Choosday and this week it's

Presents & Gifts

I decided this week not to use an image but to use some of the amazing Christmas papers in the 'Work & Play 5 - Festive Hollybobs' Collection

These papers are just so cute and come in 5 different colour ways. Of course I had to use the gingerbread people one and the reindeer one went so well with it. The sentiment tags are from the same collection, and even though I didn't use any digi images I still managed to find a way to colour something on my project :) you didn't think I would do zero colouring did you lol
I added some tiny die cut gingerbread people with incy wincy black pearls for buttons along with 2 big shiny red gems for the reindeer's nose, and finished off with some red & green bakers twine

If you pop over to the Digi Choosday blog you will be able to see all my fellow DT  brilliant makes and enter this challenge, hope to see your creations there soon

Guest DT Spot

Hello Bloggers

Ive been so excited waiting to do this post :)

The fab Treasured Times Stamps are running lots of different monthly comps on their Face Book group and I was lucky enough to be voted to be Guest Designer for November
If getting a Guest DT spot for the company wast enough I got to choose which one of their rubber stamps I wanted as my prize. That's where it got a bit tricky, all their stamps are gorgeous, but I picked 'Reindeer Friendship' by the amazingly talented Mi Ran Jung. I loved this stamp the minute I saw it and couldn't wait to get started on my project

Isn't this just the sweetest image ever
I coloured the image with Pro Markers and added glossy accents to the snowfall, reindeer's nose and their eyes to make them sparkle a little. I used Centura Pearl with a hint of Silver card from Crafters Companion to layer everything onto. The brown snowflake paper if from Marianne Design Arctic Winter pad and the blue snowflake one if from the Marianne Design Wintertime paper pad which I brought from Cuddly Buddly. The other beautiful paper is a 12x12 double sided Maja Design paper called '10th of December' and available at Live & Love Crafts which is also where I got the fabulous bark heart and the frantage I covered the white tree in (frantage is my new fave thing). The wooden snowflakes and paper reindeer were from my stash and I heat embossed them with clear cosmic shimmer powder. I used some die cuts from my stash to add some swirls and another of my new toys, the Embellishment Attic Bow Maker, to make the white organza double bow with a pearl buckle. The final touch was a string of white pearls along the bottom of the image.

I am so please with this project and even more please that Jody from Treasured Times Stamps likes it. I will definitely be making more cards using this sweet stamp

Fairy Magic

Hello Bloggers

I am sharing a card I made today using a gorgeous cute image from

She is called
Fairy Magic
and is one of the sweetest digi images I have seen

I coloured her with my Pro Markers and having printed the image twice, I added the 2nd set of butterflies on top of the base ones and bent their wing to simulate them flying. The butterflies and her wings we glittered using clear Wink of Stella pen. The backing papers were from my stash and I added ultra fine glitter in red, green & blue to the trails from the butterflies. I used mini cream coloured flat back pearls on her bow, belt and the butterflies bodies and used a matching ribbon buckle on white organza ribbon to finish my card.

I hope you like my project today

CAS

Hi Bloggers
It's time to share my 2nd make for Digi Choosday and the challenge this week is

Clean And Simple

I love CAS cards but it was very weird trying not to add too much when at the minute I am trying to get my head around making off-the-page cards :)
I don't think I did too bad a job

I used the so cute Ralph with Hat and coloured him with my Pro Markers. I added glossy accents to his beak and little black gems to his eyes. For some texture I used a spotty embossing folder and layered it onto burgundy card.

Pop over to the Digi Choosday blog and check out the fab makes from the rest of the DT

ooops I did it again!

Good Morning Bloggers

I'M NOW ON THE DESIGN TEAM FOR DIGI CHOOSDAY!!!!!

OK if the caps didn't tell you, I'm sooooo excited about this, never in my life did I think I would be posting this. I'm going to crack straight on and tell you about the challenge as the more I sit here and waffle on, the more excited I get again.

The theme for the challenge this week is

THANK YOU using WINTER COLOURS

When I saw it was a 'Thank You' challenge I immediately thought cute teddy bear or flowers so Etty Shy from the Winston collection was a perfect match for me.

I went with icy blues and silvers for my winter colours, and coloured with Pro Markers, added glossy accents to her nose and the flower centres. The flowers are also from the Winston collection and I added buttons & pearls from my stash

I shall be sharing a new Digi Choosday project with you every week featuring fabulous characters & images from Polka Doodles

Thank you for sharing my great news with me
